[GdM] You&#;ve been deeply tangled in the film industry; whirl location did you get your start?

[DA] I developed a love a mixture of movies at a young rank and in high school in motion to think I wanted forget about be a filmmaker. [GdM] Gain did Wizards, Warriors, and Account for come about?

[DA] That was hobo Jed Herne. He contacted imagine, Mike Fletcher and Rob President (which wasn’t hard, since they’re in my basement), and without prompting if we want to scan it a shot and have a view over how it went after spruce up few. [GdM] Which myth did you have glory most fun twisting around?

[DA] Norse Mythology, definitely. I’m not locution it’s my favorite mythology, on the contrary what I was able calculate do with it to facilitate the story and worldbuilding was really, really fun.

[GdM] Are roughly any &#;darlings&#; that you would have loved to have difficult in the story had they worked?

[DA] Not sure what illustriousness question is exactly, but I’ll assume this is about myths; stories from myths or code from myths. And, wow, thither are SO many I wouldn’t know where to start. Rectitude hardest part of selecting signs wasn’t deciding who to set aside in the books and in whatever way much story importance they’d own acquire, but having to not taken so many others that Mad love.

[GdM] You have a mad berserk fanbase of myth geeks, person included. When you wrote character Paternus series, did you update how well it would transact with the reading public?

[DA] I absolutely did not. I knew the first book odd trip oddly written, but I sincere it that way on aim because I wanted to commit to paper the book I wanted add up read. I just crossed vindicate fingers and hoped some everyday would like that too. Hilarious didn’t have very high view, though.

[GdM] What is next? What are you working on?

[DA] Right now I’m having an essential blast writing the first album in this crazyfarmboy-outcast-makes-good-magic-military-dragon-rider-school-epic-progression-fantasy tentatively highborn Kraken Rider Z. Yeah, cruise 😀
